Your Grocery Card Benefits PFRA
Kroger and
Tom Thumb allow you to link your grocery "reward" card to a non-profit
organization, and PFRA has qualified to be a recipient for both
programs. To get started, click one of the icons below and print out
their forms.
At Kroger, scan your
Kroger Plus Card, then ask the cashier to scan this form once, and from
then
on, PFRA will be
linked to your Plus Card until May 2009 (renew by rescanning). For Tom
Thumb, complete
the form one time and take it to their Customer Service Counter and
they will link it to your Tom Thumb Rewards Card. These cards are
not restricted, so you can pass out this information to family and
friends. For each purchase you make at Kroger or Tom Thumb
and use this program, these grocers will donate 1% of your total
purchase amount to PFRA. All funds collected are used in our
support of PFD.

Farewell Shuttle-1
After 10 great years of service, the PFRA
Paramedic Shuttle program was officially retired on Tuesday April 15th
after a continual decline in it's demand for service. You can
read more about the Shuttle
and the reasons we had to make the difficult decision to retire the
program here. But
stay tuned! We have some new, exciting programs that involve our
engagement with FD personnel coming soon. |
Hire an off-duty firefighter for your next job!
Many Plano firefighters own and run their own business on their days
off. Why hire a questionable contractor for services like
A/C& Heater repair, Landscape & Mowing, Plumbing, Welding,
Painting, when you can hire a trustworthy firefigher instead?
Visit http://www.odff.com
and enter your zip code to find a list of firefighter-owned businesses
near you!
